About Dr. Diaz
Roberto F. Diaz, M.D. is a Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Sleep Medicine specialist . In 1990, Dr. Diaz graduated at the top of his medical school class ( "Summa Cum Laude" equivalent) at the Higher University of San Andrés in La Paz, Bolivia. He trained in internal medicine at the University of Illinois at Chicago. After practicing in Chicago for 10 years, Dr. Diaz moved to Texas in 2004 and founded Alice Internal Medicine Consultants and Elite Medical Centers of Corpus Christi. Those medical centers were acquired by United Health Care- Wellmed, Inc. in 2021.
Since July, 2022, Dr Diaz has been working with various Telehealth companies in the areas of Urgent Care and Sleep Medicine. Also, collaborates with other providers as a Supervising/Collaborating Physician.
